Unethical Practices by Sobha Hibiscus Landlord. My tenancy at flat 153 in Sobha Hibiscus turned into a nightmare due to the house owner's unethical practices and unprofessional conduct. Despite fulfilling the agreed-upon painting and deep cleaning tasks, the landlord demanded additional work, costing us an extra 15,000 INR. On top of that, she deducted 50,000 INR for wear and tear repairs on a 16-year-old building, blaming us. She started making up stories to justify the deduction when we said we will complain to the authorities. I also spoke to previous tenants, and they faced similar issues. Additionally, the landlord has been sending accusatory and threatening emails, along with making illegal demands, such as insisting on rent payment even after we shifted from the place after completing all the work that we were forced to complete until she finds a new tenant.
Sad society. I lived here for 2years. I paid 7k per month for maintenance, but not sure where the money went. They had drainage pipes lying around in basement. The society is old and washrooms always have some or the other problems. The location is decent. There is constant traffic noice which you will always hear in your house. There are better societies which have many more amenities and charge the same maintainance which actually makes sense.
