Golden Residency

I saw few comments related to Lifts and Parking area being not well lit.. This is almost a 20 year old apartment and some level of wear and tear is expected . The unfortunate experience that few of the tenants had is based on the time frame they were staying while the renovation work is in progress . 1. New lifts have been installed in all the blocks starting 2024. 2. Comprehensive security upgrade was done . All the floors , roof, and common areas are monitored 24×7 and Security Cameras are installed in all the places. 3. Motion sensor lights have been installed in the parking area along with the new lights that have been installed in alternate parking spots. 4. Entire apartment has been newly renovated. One can see that clearly from outside. New paint, new Signage Board, new set of Reflective stickers in parking for better guidance. 5. Every flat having minimum of 1 STP line leading to water savings. 6. Entire transformer being worked upon and serviced by classs A government contractor. Please note that this is not a private transformer but a public one .

The society is placed in a great Location. Since most of the general-purpose stores, hospitals, restaurants, street markets are available nearby it is a prime location. Placed on the outer ring road (main road) exactly opposite to the pedestrian bridge. The society is well maintained and clean. Power back, Water treatment and lift services are available without any issues.

I went to see an apartment, the apartment is very old but I happened to go to the basement to see the parking area - it's in a pathetic state - dimly lit and the apartment thart I was looking for had a small and a tight parking spot. It's the same with many other parking spots. The guy in the front slot can easily block your parking by parking his car. The entry to the apartment that I was looking for overlooks the work area where clothes are dried and washing machine is kept for 2 apartments.

There are only TWO good things about this society, house will be very spacious including the bath rooms comparing to the apartments we have in Bangalore with 4 balconies. Location where is this apartment is great, you have accessibility to everything. As the building is very old, there are too many issues, Lift doesn't work most of the time and they take at least 2weeks or sometimes a month to get it repaired. Worst part is no one will raise the voice, the lift will be remained shut for weeks. Very few amenities you have which are useless and can not be used. When there is a maintenance for electricity, there will cut the power for more than 24 hours which is not even communicated properly. If you are the beginner level driver, you will have issues while parking the car because there too many pillars spread across. Never understood the water bill charges, when you are away from home still you have to pay the bill which would around close to 1000 only because the water is leaking from the Taps/Pipes. If you are tenant in this apt, your are issues will be given least priority. Paying so much rent and maintenance and yet you have to adjust for many things. If they start looking to fix at least few issues , this place will definitely be great place to live in. So depending on your requirement choose wisely :)

Stayed here for 4 years as a tenant. It's situated right on the main road and having best connectivity. And trust me that is the only good thing about this society. Faced a lot of water problem here. Lift used to be out of service most of the time. Stray cats used to tear milk packets kept outside house all the time. Security keeps changing and they aren't helpful.
